About Us

Our DICE “Team 60” of Emma, Aine, David, and Sean was given the task of creating a gamified concept in order to raise awareness about online addiction and ways in which it can be reduced.

As a group, our primary focus was to think of a very clear way of how to get our message across, while making it as memorable as possible. We wanted to be creative, however at the same time we wanted to avoid going over the top. Creating a simple but effective way of trying to help people to understand what online addiction is and how to reduce it was our focus.

We felt as though we were challenged by the concept of creating an online-based concept to convey the message of reducing online addiction. We thought that creating a complex, content heavy gamified concept would be quite contradicting, as we did not want our users to have to spend a long time online in order to gain the knowledge that we want them to, but we knew that we could work together as a team to create a strong message in a simplistic fashion.
